Boxing day:
Boxing Day is the day after Christmas. The tradition started in the 1700s. The rich gave Christmas boxes with presents to their employees. In Britain, "Boxing Day" is a public holiday.

SCROOGE is an old miser who has spent his life saving his money and being horrible to people. And he hates Christmas. But one Christmas Eve he is visited by three ghosts: the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghost of Christmas Present and the Ghost of Christmas Yet-to-Come. The Ghost tell Scrooge what will happen if he is not nicer to people. Jim Carrey plays Scrooge and the three ghosts in this animated film of the classic story by English author Charles Dickens.

In Great Britain people eat "Christmas pudding" on 25 December. And to celebrate, there is a "Great Christmas Pudding Race" in Covent Garden, in London. runners in fancy dress run round an obstacle course with a Christmas pudding on a tray. It's a crazy Christmas tradition!
